Awesome knife

This is a great little kit. The knife is perfect for my day to day outdoor chores and the slingshot has been fun for target practice. Highly recommend!

All round hunting and preparing

This is a bit of a novelty for me but so far I have found I really like it. The slingshot is a nice feature and works well in the real world but not brilliantly due to the 'emergency' feel to the construction. The slingshot handle works well and acts as a storage area when not in use. The sheath is very solid and overall works nicely. The knife is lovely, nice handle, good blade. As a stand-alone knife, I would advise anyone to get this if they were looking for a good all-rounder away from civilisation, taken in all this is a smart piece of kit that most will find quite useful.

Excellent Knife

This knife is very good quality especially for the price. It looks and feels sturdy with a full tang blade and rubber, grippy handle which is well balanced. The only improvements I would suggest is that the back of the blade should have a sharp edge for striking the fire striker/flint that comes stowed in the case. Plus the bottom of the handle could be improved with a pummel (although it wouldn’t look as sleek!)

The case is innovative (some may feel gimimicky), although slightly bulky. The fire rod is stowed alongside the handle of the knife and steel balls are stashed in a ‘magazine’ clip on the back, and the catapult is stowed in the face / grip of the case which pops on/off via a small clip. The rubbers for the catapult seem tough enough to last a long time and the steel arms fold away nicely.

With slim sharpening stones on either side of the sheath, it’s an all rounder really. However I feel that a catapult is quite niche and not usually a go to for camping, fishing and hunting game, unless you have an incredible shot on you . For me, it would be much more usable if the catapult was scrapped. The sheath could keep the stash away section but have fishing line, hooks, weight and floats. Get rid of the BB’s from the back and replace with a larger, flat sharpening stone. The fire rod could also be thicker but with the steel catapult arms and heavy BB’s scrapped it would still keep weight down.

The knife itself is brilliant and would be 5 stars with a striking element on the back edge (or even built into the sheath?)
