Good piece of kit.
This respirator (and another couple of items) arrived promptly. The respirator looks new and unissued (as described). All straps and harnesses, seals, and attachments look intact. There was a filter included that had a date of "02/2015" on it. Presumably this is the date of manufacture so the filter is outside it's 6 year shelf life, according to Drager's own data for combination filters (on it's website at:- "https://www.draeger.com/Content/Documents/Products/x-plore-rd40-pi-9045594-en-gb.pdf").
The case that the respirator came in was generally in good condition, although has been previously issued. It had some fain writing on the outside (looks like someone's name) and had a name clearly written on the inside (presumably the person to whom it was issued). The case had all the straps and attachments, as far as I can tell. There was one noticeable cut in the leg harness (probably, I'd imagine, the reason the case was removed from service, I'd imagine).
There was a small plastic "screw attachment" loose in the bottom of the case, that had obviously been broken off something at some time. I have had a look over the mask and the case and can't find any place that looks like it had anything broken off of it, so maybe this small plastic piece is from a previous mask that occupied the case.
I'll be adding my own new 40mm Drager filters to it in the future. The whole case and mask needs a good clean to remove the test CS that it has been exposed to in the past. Not a huge problem though. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
