This is a beautiful knife with a very good finish on the blade, It arrived razor sharp of course. The only issue I have had with it so far is that I find the handle of the knife a little bit too short for my hands personally, I find my little finger slipping easily from the end of the handle.

Holding it with my hand a little closer in to to the blade doesn't feel bad though and I have found myself gripping naturally like that quite often already. The sheath for it is fits well and is nice and sturdy feeling, but sadly it is quite hard to make out the name of Blackhills Steel that is sewn onto the the sheath in blue next to their logo.

I think it is a great name and logo so it's a shame to see the creators name being barely readable on their products. Though their name is on the blade itself and the issue with the messy looking, hard to read lettering on the sheath could be down to the smaller size of this one. But with that small issue aside I am really pleased with the knife and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for sturdy medium sized blade of this style.
